1. How do I buy?

If you are interested in an item on the website please fill in the contact form on the item page quoting the model/reference no. A viewing can then be arranged at your convenience.

2. Which payment methods are accepted?

I accept payment via cheque, PayPal, bank transfer or cash.

3. Do you offer a delivery service?

On occasion delivery may be able to be arranged, however this very much depends on the delivery address and the nature of the item itself. Please contact me to enquire. As a general rule I prefer my customers to view each item before purchase.

4. Hours of Business

I endeavour to work hours to suit each customer. I am happy to arrange viewings at times to suit your schedule (even Xmas day!) so please feel free to enquire.

5. Do you sell to trade?

I am very happy to consider all trade enquiries. 

6. Do you offer a commission buying service?

If you are searching for a specific item for your home I am happy to help source individual pieces on my buying trips. I will need you to provide an image and approximate dimensions of the desired item, and a telephone number that I can reach you on at short notice whlist I am overseas.

7. Do you offer any after sales service? 

Should any damage occur during your ownership it may be possible to facilitate repairs depending on the item. We always endeavour to keep our customers happy. Insurance repairs quoted for.

8. I've seen an item on the website that I would like to view - can you reserve it for me?

I am happy to reserve items for up to 7 days.

9. Do you offer any interior design & furnishing advice for customers?

I have successfully helped many customers to furnish their homes and am happy to provide advice and ideas to help you help you achieve your desired look.

10. Where is your showroom?

My showroom is located in very picturesque surroundings a few miles outside of Oswestry on the Shropshire/Welsh border. Why not turn a visit to my showroom into a day out by visiting the beautiful Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall, or take a drive to the nearby Lake Vyrnwy. You will be very well looked after on your visit & complementary tea and coffee are always provided. Please contact me to arrange a visit at a time to suit you.

11. Where do you buy your stock?

I take great pride & care in personally hand sourcing all of my antiques from trade markets and personal contacts that I have acquired throughout France and the continent during my many years in the trade. I carefully pack and drive all my buys home from each buying trip to protect against damage during transit.

12. Will your lighting require re-wiring?

All of my electric lighting items have been fully rewired to comply with UK safety standards and come fully PAT tested & certificated.

13. Can you restore an antique that I already own?

Yes! Our gilding & repair service is available for pieces that you already own that may need a little (or a lot!) of TLC. Simply enquire to discuss the possibilities.
